PAVILION KUALA LUMPUR is a world class integrated commercial development project located in the heart of the Golden Triangle. The shopping centre is the main focus of the development, taking up an area of 1.37 million sq. ft. with approximately 450 retail shops, and is set to stake its claim as the defining retail authority in the region, the leader in fashion, food and beverage, and urban leisure. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates with the breadth and depth of experience to fill the following positions:
GUEST SERVICES OFFICER (JAPANESE SPEAKING)
Responsibilities :
To consistently provide quality and value-added services to visitors / guests of the shopping centre in a gracious, attentive, courteous and service-oriented manner:
- Assist in set-ups for events / functions
- Assist with translations of various reading materials (guest directory, menus etc)
- Conduct media tours / handle tour groups
- Escort VIPs during functions
- Recommend dining venues
- Administer redemptions and rewards for promotions in the shopping centre
- Provide gift wrapping services to guests
- Maintain daily checklist and inventory of facilities
- Provide feedback from visitors / guests to Concierge Manager for action
Requirements :
- Certificate / Diploma / Degree holder in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel or Retail.
- Pleasant disposition, attentive, focused and confident responding to face- to- face or call enquiries and resolving difficult situations.
- Working experience in a hospitality / customer service environment / industry.
- Must be able to converse fluently in both English and Japanese.
- Multi-tasker and work well to meet the needs of several guests at once.
- Good general knowledge of the city, country, tourist attractions and transportation systems.
- Possess a genuine interest in rendering superior customer service, interpersonal skills and good grooming.
- Familiar with a variety of customs and cultures particularly Japanese.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

CONCIERGE
Responsibilities :

- Maintain daily checklist and inventory of facilities such as baby strollers, wheelchairs etc.
- Validate car-park tickets
- Set-up for events / functions
- Escort VIPs during functions
- Conduct media tours / handle tour groups
- Recommend dining venues
- Handle lost and found items
Requirements :
- Minimum SPM qualification and or Certificate/Diploma holder in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel or Retail.
- Pleasant disposition, attentive, focused and confident responding to face- to- face or call enquiries and resolving difficult situations.
- Experience in a hotel, shopping centre, retail, tourism and food & beverage environment would be an added advantage.
- Able to converse fluently in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Comprehension of other languages is a definite advantage.
- Multi-tasker and work well under pressure as often working to meet the needs of several guests at once.
- Good general knowledge of the surrounding areas of the shopping centre, local prominent landmarks and transportation infrastructure.
- Familiar with the customs of a variety of cultures.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Fresh graduates (SPM holders, graduates from hospitality schools) are also encouraged to apply.

AUXILIARY POLICE

CONSTABLE

1. Nationality
a) Malaysian citizens only
2. Knowledge, Skills and Experience
a) Completed SPM and/or possess professional qualifications relevant to the Security Industry
b) Must have previous experience in a security role
c) Able to conduct investigations, prepare incident reports and have basic computer skills
d) Knowledge of security and safety guidelines, laws and regulations that affect security policies, procedures and
operations
e) Knowledge of security equipment and technology such as CCTV and Door Access System
3. Language
a) Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia
b) Other languages or dialects would be an advantage
4. Physique
a) Physically healthy and mentally fit
b) Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a comprehensive medical check-up before a permanent

CORPORAL

Candidates applying for the rank of Corporal MUST meet all requirements as stated above AND must possess at least 2 years experience in a security supervisory role.
Training & Remuneration:
1. Candidates certified medically fit for employment will be offered a permanent placement and will be required to
undergo 8 weeks training (Basic Training for Auxiliary Police) at Pusat Latihan Polis (Pulapol) on full-pay.
2. Candidates may expect a generous remuneration package which includes basic salary, shift allowance,
housing allowance and police allowance. (Police allowance is payable only upon successful completion of the 8
weeks training)

EXECUTIVE, PUBLIC RELATIONS
Responsibilities :
- Assist in delivering sound PR communication strategies in-line with brand guidelines
- Build strong brand equity and reputation for the shopping centre by generating opportunities for positive publicity, planning and managing media initiatives
- Liaise with government departments
- Regulate internal communication to company staff and external communication to media and the business communities on corporate announcement
Requirements :
- Diploma / Degree in Mass Communications / Marketing / Public Relations / Journalism or equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years relevant experience preferably in a retail environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills – English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good people and public speaking skills
- Demonstrate poise under pressure and work efficiently at all levels
- Strong networking abilities, resourceful and a multi-tasker with a keen eye for details
- Good time-management with ability to prioritize and multitask
