The three bowls represent Malaysia’s races and cultures living harmoniously in unity and ascending to signify the growing aspirations of the people.

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 MARCH 2026 – Visit Malaysia 2026’s Strategic Mall Partner, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, ushers in Raya 2026 with Journey to Tradisi, in collaboration with Astro. Celebrating Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity across generations, the campaign was officiated by Yang Berusaha Encik Chua Choon Hwa, Deputy Secretary General (Tourism), Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture together with Dato’ Joyce Yap, Chief Executive Officer of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, alongside Mr B. Ravintharan A/L K. Balakrishnan, Head of Cards, Group Community Financial Services at Maybank and Mr Benjamin Woo, Head of Group Marketing at Astro.

The launch was further enlivened by a special Raya rendition performed by Astro artiste Wani Kayrie, setting a warm and festive tone for the evening. In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur also hosted a welcoming buka puasa engagement at Centre Court for visiting tourists and guests, offering traditional favourites such as air bandung, kurma and colourful kuih-muih. The experience allowed international visitors to witness Malaysia’s Ramadan hospitality first-hand; a tradition deeply rooted in the country’s culture of sharing and togetherness.

“As Malaysia prepares to welcome the world for Visit Malaysia 2026, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur aims to offer visitors an authentic glimpse into the traditions that make our country unique. Through Journey to Tradisi, we invite both Malaysians and international visitors to experience the spirit of Ramadan and Aidilfitri – from Malaysian cultural artistry to the warmth of communal moments such as breaking fast together, creating meaningful festive memories in the heart of the city,” said Puan Nor Rejina Binti Abdul Rahim, Board of Director, Pavilion REIT.

This year’s festivities bring the spirit of Raya to life through Journey to Tradisi, transforming Pavilion Kuala Lumpur into a vibrant celebration of Malaysian heritage. Inspired by the nostalgic glow of panjut pelita, the campaign is brought to life through Astro’s collaboration with Malaysian batik artist Farah Mohan, whose intricate batik creations reinterpret traditional motifs through a contemporary lens.

Displayed across Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, these artistic installations weave together heritage, storytelling and modern design, turning the mall into a living canvas of Malaysian culture and offering visitors an immersive glimpse into the traditions that define the Raya season.

Located in the heart of Bukit Bintang, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur continues to serve as a key lifestyle and cultural gateway for international visitors exploring Kuala Lumpur during the festive season.

While reconnecting with Raya traditions at the beautifully decorated Spanish Steps and Centre Court, visitors may also enjoy some festive shopping, with exclusive Raya-themed offerings and pop-ups from vendors such as Loka Espresso, Variante, Arabian Oud, Carpet Village, Buttonscarves and Zaitoun.

For luxury beauty enthusiasts, the Dolce & Gabbana The One Campaign Pop-Up near Main Entrance, Level 3 runs from 23rd February 2026, offering limited-edition collections and exclusive products.

A series of exciting Raya and Visit Malaysia Year 2026 activations await at Pavilion KL’s Centre Court, celebrating Malaysia’s vibrant culture through live performances, celebrity appearances, and immersive festive experiences:
● Astro Raya Showcase – Join popular Malaysian celebrities as they kick off the festive season with live performances, interactive activities, and a special Raya showcase on 5th March 2026 at 3:00PM.
● VANZO Launch – Celebrating VMY2026 with Malaysian singer Shila Amzah, unveiling our fragrance inspired by Malaysia’s iconic Ylang Ylang, on 7th March 2026 at 2:00 PM.
● Maybank x MOTAC VMY2026 Launch – The Maybank Cards Visit Malaysia 2026 Showcase marks a celebration of the strategic collaboration between Maybank Cards and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC). The event will unveil a curated lineup of exclusive Maybank Cards promotions in support of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, and will take place on 11 March 2026 at 6:00PM.

To make the season even more rewarding, Pavilion KL is offering exclusive Raya-themed rewards for shoppers. Customers who spent RM300 (or RM200 with Maybank Cards) in a single receipt are able to exchange a set of limited-edition Raya packets, while Maybank cardholders who spent RM2,000 or more are treated to a Raya High Tea Set, and those spending RM3,500 or above could enjoy a Raya Tea Cup & Saucer Set.

Pavilion Privileges Members are also eligible to enjoy exclusive high spender rewards, receiving complimentary RM500 shopping vouchers* for every RM10,000 spent in a single receipt at specialty stores.
*Redemption capped at RM2,500 per member per day.

This Raya season, Pavilion KL is also committed to promoting environmental awareness with eco-friendly initiatives. In partnership with WWF, the Earth Hour Awareness Booth at Pavilion KL Connection, running from 23rd to 27th March 2026, will educate visitors about sustainability and encourage support for Earth Hour. On 28th March 2026, Pavilion KL will join global efforts in the Lights Out event from 8:30PM to 9:30PM, where the mall and participating tenants will switch off their lights in solidarity with the planet.

The Journey to Tradisi campaign not only celebrated the Raya season but also highlighted the beauty of coming together as one community, reinforcing Pavilion KL’s position as the ultimate destination for Malaysian experiences.

Held over two days during the festive period, the initiative saw teams from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil and Intermark Mall working hand-in-hand at Rumah Kasih (Kuala Lumpur) and JJ Blessing Care Centre (OUG). Volunteers carried out repair and refurbishment works, repainted common areas, cleaned and reorganised living spaces, and donated essential home appliances creating a more comfortable, refreshed and dignified environment for the residents.

Beyond physical improvements, Pavilion REIT Malls employees spent meaningful time engaging with the elderly through shared meals, conversations and a festive yee sang toss, fostering moments of warmth, laughter and genuine connection. Home appliances were contributed by Parkson (Pavilion Bukit Jalil), drinks by Watsons (Pavilion Kuala Lumpur), while lunch meals were provided by Leaf’s Mark (Intermark Mall).

Dato’ Philip Ho, Chief Executive Officer of Pavilion REIT Management Sdn Bhd said, “Chinese New Year is a time of renewal, gratitude and togetherness. At Pavilion REIT Malls, we believe it is important to extend these values beyond our malls and into the communities around us. Through this initiative, our teams were able to improve living environments while sharing meaningful moments with the residents, reflecting our commitment to community care and social responsibility.”

What sets this initiative apart is the cross-functional collaboration between Pavilion REIT’s Marketing and Operations teams, who worked side by side to deliver not just donations, but tangible upgrades and personal engagement. Rather than a one-off contribution, the programme emphasised hands-on involvement, shared experiences and meaningful human connection.

This initiative forms part of Pavilion REIT’s broader ESG commitment under the Social and Good Health & Well-Being pillars reinforcing the Group’s belief that meaningful placemaking extends beyond retail spaces and into the communities it serves.

The occasion underscored Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s continued role in elevating celebratory moments while contributing to Malaysia’s tourism and retail landscape.

Dato’ Joyce Yap shared, “Chinese New Year is a meaningful moment of renewal at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, bringing together our tenants, partners and the communities around us as we begin a new year. Journey to Prosperity reflects our commitment to honouring tradition while creating uplifting experiences for all who visit. As we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of strength, drive and new beginnings, we hope it inspires continued growth and positive momentum for our tenants and business partners. In the lead-up to Visit Malaysia 2026, this festive showcase also welcomes local shoppers and international visitors, reinforcing Pavilion KL’s position as a leading lifestyle and tourism destination.”

Inspired by the symbolism of strength, progress and fresh beginnings, the Year of the Fire Horse comes alive throughout Pavilion KL’s iconic spaces. The Centre Court has been transformed into the Prosperity Pavilion, featuring eight life-sized fibreglass horses galloping and charging forward, each adorned with specially-designed in-house floral patterns to usher in the Journey to Prosperity. The striking auspicious installation is further decorated with traditional motifs, elegant lanterns, and vibrant red-and-gold accents symbolising renewal and good fortune. The happenings are enriched by curated cultural showcases from selected tenants, including Yu Yan Tea’s artisanal Chinese teas, Gisselle Liu’s Hanfu experience and jewellery showcase, Vac Hub’s exquisite silk embroidery and custom Chinese seal creations with pottery, Venchi’s premium festive chocolate gift sets—alongside a line-up of interactive booths that invite visitors to discover, experience and celebrate Chinese heritage through contemporary craftsmanship.

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 DECEMBER 2025 – The halls of Pavilion Bukit Jalil were filled with an extra dose of joy and laughter this festive season as more than 200 little legends and their families from the Nicol David Organisation’s experienced a magical Christmas celebration they will not soon forget. From the excitement of a movie screening to the thrill of a shopping spree, the day was designed to give these inspiring children a holiday experience filled with wonder, warmth, and the simple joy of being celebrated.

For many of these children, the day at Pavilion Bukit Jalil was a first. The adventure began with a special screening of Zootopia 2, where the children were transported into a world of animated wonder. The magic continued with a delightful meet-and-greet with Peanuts mascots, followed by a hearty lunch and refreshments. As the atmosphere buzzed with excitement, the highlight many had been waiting for had arrived: a shopping spree at Parkson.

Pavilion REIT Malls contributed RM20,000 in Parkson shopping vouchers, transforming an ordinary shopping trip into an extraordinary experience. With dedicated volunteers by their side, the children explored the store, carefully selecting items and experiencing the joy of choosing something special for themselves. For children who are more accustomed to focusing on necessities, this moment of abundance was particularly meaningful – a chance to feel valued, celebrated, and cared for during the festive season.

The heartwarming initiative is a testament to the growing partnership between Pavilion REIT Malls and the Nicol David Organisation – a collaboration rooted in a shared belief that every child deserves opportunities to dream bigger. Earlier this year, both organisations announced their partnership, marking the beginning of a journey to empower young Malaysians through meaningful experiences and support, fulfilling Pavilion REIT Malls’ commitment to the Health and Education pillars of its ESG framework. Since then, Pavilion REIT Malls has served as venue sponsor for NDO’s successful Sports Summit at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, with this Christmas celebration continuing that momentum and more exciting initiatives already in the pipeline for next year.

At the heart of this partnership are the Little Legends themselves – children aged 8-13 from mid to low-income families who are being nurtured through NDO’s holistic after-school programme. Founded by squash legend Datuk Nicol David, Little Legends goes beyond sports, combining squash training with English tutoring and life-skills workshops to instill confidence, discipline, and resilience in children who might not otherwise have access to such opportunities.

This Christmas celebration reflects Pavilion REIT Malls’ evolving vision of what a mall can be – not just a place for transactions, but a community space where meaningful connections are made and positive change is nurtured. Through their support of NDO’s initiatives and creating experiences that go beyond retail, Pavilion REIT Malls is demonstrating that their commitment to the community runs deeper than storefronts and sales.

As the day drew to a close, the Little Legends left Pavilion Bukit Jalil having experienced something meaningful: the feeling of being seen, celebrated, and supported. In a season that’s all about giving, Pavilion REIT Malls and the Nicol David Organisation have given these Little Legends something truly valuable – not just gifts and experiences, but the message that they matter, their dreams are worth nurturing, and that their community believes in them.

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 AUGUST 2025 – Pavilion REIT Malls is transforming its premier destinations into vibrant celebrations of Malaysia’s independence, honouring the nation’s unity and multicultural pride. Running from now until Tuesday, 16 September 2025, this year’s Merdeka festivities showcase Malaysia’s rich heritage while fostering harmony among all Malaysians.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and Intermark Mall will each present unique celebrations featuring multicultural art installations, star-studded entertainment, fitness activities, and exclusive shopping rewards – all designed to celebrate the bonds that unite Malaysia as one nation.

Spearheading the festivities, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur presents a specially curated campaign themed Inilah Kita, reflecting the spirit of Merdeka through a tribute to the people. The campaign celebrates shared stories, cultural pride, and unity in honour of Malaysia’s National Day. In collaboration with the Ministry of National Unity, the festivities officially commenced with a spectacular launch at the Main Entrance, featuring a stellar lineup of multiracial personalities and cultural performances. Throughout the festive period, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is adorned with festive flags surrounding the iconic Pavilion Crystal Fountain.

Symbolising the spirit of Inilah Kita, Izzati Suza, Riynn Lee and Karthine Maniam co-created Seni Persahabatan (Art of Friendship), a collaborative artwork embodying Malaysia’s multicultural tapestry. The mural will be displayed at the Banyan Tree Link Bridge until 16 September 2025.

Drawing an impressive crowd of over 11,000 fans and moviegoers, Pavilion KL recently illuminated with star power as it hosted the exclusive Gala Premiere of “Pavane For An Infant” at its Level 3, Main Entrance. Directed by award-winning Malaysian filmmaker Chong Keat Aun, the drama follows the heartfelt stories within a baby hatch centre in Kuala Lumpur, highlighting the tireless dedication of social workers and staff as they receive and care for newborns.

The red carpet spectacle added cinematic glamour to the evening, marking it one of the mall’s most memorable events to date. Malaysia also served as the only Southeast Asian stop on the film’s promotional tour, making the occasion even more significant. Fans were treated to special appearances by Hong Kong-based Malaysian actress Fish Liew, Taiwanese actress Natalie Hsu, and Chong Keat Aun himself, who warmly engaged with supporters throughout the event.

The celebration continues with the highly anticipated Hello Inilah Kita showcase on 23-24 August 2025 at the Level 3, Main Entrance. This two-day star-studded event will feature beloved celebrity personalities from all races, cultural performances, and exclusive previews of locally produced entertainment programming. Confirmed appearances include Misha Omar, Merqeen, Jaclyn Victor, and Shila Amzah, along with special guests Hong Kong actors Lai Lok-Yi and Ali Lee. Expect a vibrant mix of music, culture, and entertainment reflecting Malaysia’s unity and creative spirit.

Shoppers can participate in the patriotic spirit while enjoying exclusive rewards from now until Tuesday, 16 September 2025. Customers spending RM500 in a single receipt – including on dining experiences such as Grandmama’s Merdeka special menu featuring Nasi Lemak Lobster – will receive an exclusive Pavilion Crystal Fountain Coaster Set. A perfect keepsake to commemorate Malaysia’s independence celebrations.

Extending the patriotic spirit and embracing Malaysia’s 68th National Day, Pavilion Bukit Jalil proudly presents its Merdeka campaign Together. We Celebrate — a vibrant showcase of fitness, unity, and creativity running until Tuesday, 16 September 2025.

In collaboration with Anytime Fitness, Pavilion Bukit Jalil transforms into a wellness playground with free fitness classes running until Sunday, 14 September 2025. From HIIT and Fithop to Aerial Yoga, Ritmo Dance, Salsation, and traditional Yoga, these sessions channel the nation’s enduring strength and camaraderie through movement — a tribute to Malaysia’s spirit of togetherness. This complimentary event invites everyone to join in and move as one.

Adding to the active atmosphere is the Li-Ning Sports Day, taking place from 26-31 August 2025 at Level 2, Pink Zone. Visitors can enjoy a unique opportunity to play pickleball in the heart of the mall, with courts available for RM30 per hour, inclusive of two paddles and a ball (RM100 refundable deposit required, payable at the Li-Ning store located at Level 4, Orange Zone). As part of the celebration, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will host a special Meet & Greet with Li-Ning Ambassadors on Saturday, 30 August 2025, featuring national badminton icons Tan Boon Heong, Ong Yew Sin, Teo Ee Yi, Obstacle Course Racing athlete Mat Redho, and basketball players Kylie Hiew, Joshua Gan, Ting Chun Hong, and Heng Yee Tong.

Capping off the fitness-themed festivities is the complimentary 5KM Merdeka Fun Run in collaboration with ANTA and LAC on Saturday, 30 August 2025, starting at 8.00am at PIAZZA Street. This family-friendly event invites fitness enthusiasts to run in the name of unity, celebrating Malaysia’s Merdeka in stride. Each registered runner will receive exclusive merchandise worth RM80. As slots are limited — follow Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s Instagram or Facebook page for more information.

Continuing the celebration of Malaysia’s rich cultural identity, Pavilion Bukit Jalil presents Tinta Merdeka, a fashion-art and cultural installation created by students of UCSI Group, with support from Truley Bateq, Chery and KB Colour Image.

From 27 August to 1 September 2025, Centre Court will transform into a vibrant celebration space with an exhibition featuring 16 fashion-art pieces crafted from Malaysian batik textiles, each reflecting the unique identity and spirit of Malaysia’s states and federal territories. The showcase will also feature batik-wrapped Chery show cars, hands-on batik painting workshops, Merdeka-themed colouring activities for children, and a handicraft booth inspired by local food. Visitors can admire iconic art displays, take part in interactive games such as Tic! Tic! Bomb!!!, Smack Deck, and Nab in the Dark, enjoy artist sharing sessions by DuDu, and explore sustainable creativity at the zero-waste frame booth by KB Colour / AniKertas x Posterlite.

As part of the celebrations, Pavilion Privileges members can enjoy exclusive rewards and activities throughout the month of August. A total of 1,000 movie tickets are up for grabs – simply spend RM800 or more in a single receipt to receive a pair. On Tuesday, 23 August 2025, members can participate in the Merdeka Art Collage in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), creating a special Merdeka masterpiece using creative and recycled materials. From 30–31 August 2025, members are invited to enjoy Merdeka Ice Skating at Blue Ice Snow Park, where 100 Malaysian flags will be distributed to participating skaters.

These vibrant activities offer families the opportunity to experience Malaysia’s unity in diversity through art, culture, and community engagement, inviting everyone to commemorate Merdeka meaningfully through movement, creativity, and togetherness.

Adding its own flavour to the national celebrations, Intermark Mall presents a sensorial, heartwarming campaign titled Serasa Merdeka. Running throughout the Merdeka period until Sunday, 7 September 2025, the campaign spotlights Malaysia’s vibrant culinary and cultural heritage, celebrating unity through food, fashion and art.

At the recent launch, the Serasa Merdeka campaign featured performances of Negaraku and Rasa Sayang Eh! by students from Primrose Hill International School, who donned traditional costumes embodying Malaysia’s diverse identities. This was followed by a fashion showcase and tour of the “Heritage in Motion” collection – a mentorship programme between INTI Centre of Art & Design (ICAD) and Carven Ong. The student-designed pieces creatively blended Malay, Chinese, Indian, and East Malaysian motifs into a unified cultural narrative.

Anchored by the belief that “food is a unifying factor,” the campaign offers visitors daily Tastebud Teasers – complimentary servings of local favourites from 11.30am to 1.00pm with a minimum spend of RM15. The aim is to evoke nostalgia and the muhibbah spirit, reminding Malaysians that despite our differences, we are bonded by shared flavours and traditions.

Visitors can also explore the Serasa Market until 7 September 2025, featuring local artisanal foods, handmade crafts, and Malaysian-themed art installations by Lima Pulo, Durian BB, Say What?, Acaya, Salang Design, Ipoh Girl Creations, B.Brave, and Typical Us — all further enriching the campaign’s 360° experiential journey throughout the mall.

This Merdeka and Malaysia Day, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, and Intermark Mall invite all Malaysians and visitors to come together in meaningful celebrations of the nation’s independence, diversity, and unity. Through art, fitness, music, fashion, and exclusive shopping rewards, the festivities promise to create unforgettable moments that truly capture the essence of what it means to be Malaysian.

The heartwarming initiative, part of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s “Charity at Heart” CSR programme, brought together children from Yayasan Sunbeams and Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home during the school holidays – beautifully embodying Lilo & Stitch’s powerful message that “ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind”.

The special day transformed Pavilion Kuala Lumpur into a playground of possibilities. The children began their morning with an exclusive screening of Disney’s beloved classic, following the mischievous blue alien’s touching journey of connection. The magic continued with a sumptuous lunch buffet at the foyer of Dadi Cinema, followed by interactive fun at the Centre Court’s vibrant “Aloha Summer” booths.

“We believe every child deserves to feel seen, celebrated and loved,” shared Dato’ Joyce Yap, Chief Executive Officer (Retail) of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

“This wasn’t just about hosting an event – it was about creating memories that remind these children they belong, and that there’s always a place for them in our hearts.”

The day was enriched through significant collaborations with KidsUnited Asia and CustomLab. As a multi-brand kid-wear retailer dedicated to stylish yet comfortable outfits for little ones, KidsUnited Asia brought flair to the event by providing high-quality, trendy tote bags. In seamless partnership, CustomLab – a creative studio known for its bespoke design solutions – brought the Disney magic to life by pre-customising each tote bag with the children’s names, ensuring every child received a personalised keepsake to treasure.

The children also participated in an energetic tropical dance workshop led by the teachers of Curiouser Malaysia, encouraging them to embrace movement, rhythm, and pure fun. Adding a sweet touch, Frost n Bite delighted the children with complimentary scoops of ice cream – spreading even more smiles all around.

As the children departed with beaming faces and hearts full of joy, the true ohana spirit came to life. The event serves as a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact, reflecting Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s unwavering commitment through its Charity at Heart programme to ensure no child in the community is left behind while fostering meaningful experiences that strengthen bonds and uplift lives.

The “Aloha Summer” campaign runs until 15 June 2025, offering families more opportunities to enjoy an eventful school holiday experience.
