Manager, Dock Logistics

The Manager, Dock Logistics is responsible for supervising the overall operations of the dock area which includes security of the dock, cleanliness of the common area and storage areas as well as the enforcement of dock procedures.

  • Ensure all dock facilities are in good operational condition
  • Ensure supplier, vendors and contractors adhere to established safety policies
  • Enforce penalties on non-conformance of safety policies
  • Inspect dock facilities for adherence to established safety policies and for the purpose of preventing accident or injury to personnel and patrons
  • Approve and monitor work permits for contractors engaged by tenants and issue EHS cards upon approval of the work permits
  • Control and monitor waste disposal contractor to ensure schedules are timely followed and disposals are done in line with authorities requirements
  • Prepare and maintain various records and reports 
  • Oversee car park facilities

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management or Facilities Management
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with a firm approach
