Lush Malaysia launches world-exclusive Coral Soap at Pavilion KL, Championing Marine Conservation

May 7, 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 May 2026 – In conjunction with Pavilion KL’s Sustainability Week, Lush Malaysia today launched its Malaysia-exclusive Coral Soap at Pavilion KL Centre Court, marking a global first for the brand. Available for a limited time while stocks last, the product is exclusively available in Malaysia.
Coral Soap is a purpose-led product created to directly support marine conservation efforts in Malaysia. As part of the initiative, 75% of the sales price (minus tax) from every soap sold will be donated to Reef Check Malaysia, funding the protection, rehabilitation, and advocacy of coral reef ecosystems, particularly in Tioman Island.

The launch event brought together sustainability, advocacy, and customer engagement through a series of interactive activities. Attendees were invited to participate in a bath bomb-making workshop, highlighting Lush’s commitment to naked products which are innovative, packaging-free solutions designed to reduce environmental waste.

The event also featured keynote speeches by Dr. Harvinder Harchand, Director of Lush Malaysia, and Julian Hyde, Chief Executive Officer of Reef Check Malaysia, both emphasising the urgency of marine conservation and the importance of collective action.

“This launch brings together product innovation, advocacy, and local impact. As the only market globally to carry Coral Soap, Malaysia is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful support towards the protection of our marine ecosystems,” said Dr. Harvinder Harchand.

Established in 2007, Reef Check Malaysia works closely with coastal communities to protect marine biodiversity through conservation programmes, research, and education. Funds raised from Coral Soap will support coral planting and reef rehabilitation, marine debris removal, installation of mooring buoys to prevent anchor damage, and environmental education initiatives in the schools across Tioman Island.

Exclusive Pavilion KL activation: Bring It Back recycling initiative
