Ahead of the race at Sepang International Circuit from 2 to 4 October, Louis Vuitton invites the public to encounter the Bahrain Trophy Trunk at Louis Vuitton, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from 26 to 29 September 2026.
This marks the first time a Formula 1® Trophy Trunk has been presented to the public in Malaysia – offering a rare look at the craftsmanship created to frame one of motorsport’s defining moments.
Nearly a decade after Malaysia last welcomed a Grand Prix in 2017, the occasion reignites the country’s racing legacy and returns Sepang’s celebrated circuit to the global stage.
MADE FOR VICTORY
Handcrafted at Louis Vuitton’s historic atelier in Asnières-sur-Seine, France, the trunk is covered in the House’s emblematic Monogram and marked by an iconic “V” – for both Victory and Vuitton.
Bahrain’s red and white colours meet the black-and-white Damier of the chequered finish line. A new Victory patch, inspired by traditional travel labels, is designed to carry the winner’s initials and preserve the story of the Grand Prix.
The piece continues a relationship between Louis Vuitton and automotive culture that stretches back to 1897, when Georges Vuitton created the House’s first automotive trunks. Today, the same ideals of precision, ingenuity and teamwork connect atelier and racetrack.
