Burberry
Paying tribute to Chinese heritage and culture, Burberry has collaborated with celebrated artist Qian Lihuai. While bringing a modern slant to one of China’s most iconic styles of craftsmanship, the collaboration nods to Burberry’s rich history of innovative weaving – from the open and reticular weave of its signature gabardine to the unmistakable Burberry Check scarf.
Gucci
Marking the Year of the Snake, Gucci released a selection of pieces inspired by the serpent’s elegance, with the snake seamlessly woven into the collection as a core motif. Echoing the “symbolic renewal” that the snake represents, the campaign offers an ode to family through the lens of creative director Sabato De Sarno.
Loewe
To celebrate the upcoming Year of the Snack, Loewe has created a collection that pays homage to the ancient craft of Chinese cloisonné.
A decorative enamel technique characterised by its vibrant colours and traditionally used in the royal court, the iconic Puzzle bag draws inspiration from the ancient art form and is animated with 3D effect clouds.
Prada
The new Prada campaign for Chinese New Year 2025 celebrates the start of the year of the snake, a powerful source of metaphorical visions.
To mark the occasion, Prada is presenting an exclusive selection of ready-to-wear and accessories. Bags are the highlight of the women’s offering, including a leather top-handle cubic bag with golden hardware, a pared-back, minimal tote, and a shoulder bag with removable tricks.
