From now until 30th April 2017, Pavilion KL steps up its fashion game with exclusive showcases, ready-to-wear runway displays and parties.
In an intimate and glamorous afternoon celebration, “Step Into Spring” hosted a fashionable gathering of the city’s style elite to kick off the launch of “A Walk of Luxury”, the largest Luxury Couture Shoes Exhibition in Malaysia. Held at the mall’s signature Spanish Steps leading to the Centre Court at level 2, socialites, celebrities, media friends and business partners converged to enjoy an afternoon of exquisite, fashionable canapés while sipping cocktails in their fabulous outfits and stylish shoes. Guests were treated to an elegant ‘picnic’ on the Steps and were indulged in fun, entertaining insta-photo sessions in a dedicated 360-degree photo booth called “321Freeze” provided by “Instamedia Premium Solution”, created especially for afternoon.
Featuring more than 100 iconic pairs of shoes this season, “A Walk of Luxury” showcases signature ballerinas, towering pumps and iconic stilettos from the season, from famed designers – Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Roger Vivier, Giuseppe Zanotti and many more. Highlights from the exhibition include first-in-Malaysia shoes, exclusive to Pavilion KL, such as the Cinderella shoe by Jimmy Choo and the Hangisi Royale Blue shoe by Manolo Blahnik, which “Mr. Big” used to propose to Carrie Bradshaw in the popular drama series and movie, “Sex in the City”. For the first time in any exhibition displayed by the mall, “A Walk of Luxury” offers a “see-now, buy-now” retail model where everything on display is available for sale in the respective stores.
In celebration of the fashion season, Coach 1941 is also hosting an exclusive pop-up of its Spring 2017 Collection at level 2, which explores the raw, elemental hand of rebel craft and the eclectic craft of Santa Fe. Shoppers will also be able to appreciate the “Moschino Paper Dolls Exhibition”, which displays life-size ‘paper dolls’ wearing their latest SS17 collection. Catch the “sneaker-wave” at the “247 New Balance Pop-Up Store” at Main Entrance, level 3 from 20th April to 1st May 2017 for the latest “NB 247” collection, a shoe built for today’s 24/7 lifestyle.
