Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s premier shopping destination, was recently awarded the winner in the Best Shopping Mall category by the Going Places Readers’ Choice Awards 2015. Organized by Going Places, the in-flight magazine for Malaysia Airlines, the awards recognised the industry’s best for outstanding achievement in tourism and hospitality.
Pavilion KL received accolade above other malls in the same category for its diverse product offerings and world-class shopping experiences, such as the ‘60 Years of Made in Italy’ celebration, which was presented for the first time in Asia.
“This is the first Award that Pavilion KL has won for the Going Places Readers’ Choice Awards and it is a testament to the high standards of customer service we strive to give our shoppers when they visit our mall. To date, Pavilion KL has won 33 local and international awards, including Best Shopping Mall in the Mayor’s Tourism Awards 2014, TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2015, Industry Excellence for Retail in the ASEAN Business Awards Malaysia 2015 and the Gold Award for Public Relations and Events in the ICSC 2015 Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards.
The Going Places Readers’ Choice Awards 2015 competition was open to public voting from the 1st of June until the 30th of October 2015. Going Places announced the winners during the Going Places Relaunch Party and inaugural awards ceremony at Nexus Bangsar South on the 27th of January 2016.
